Lexercise

Lexercise is a clinician-supervised Web-based learning tool for children ages 6 to 16 with language-literacy disorders. Lexercise is an interactive Web-based platform that allows the clinician to customize and monitor research-based treatment exercises that have all the motivational appeal of flash-based games. Lexercise is an entirely new language therapy tool created by Mind InFormation.

Consistent with the widely accepted Orton-Gillingham approach to language learning, Lexercise teaches alphabetic phonics through individualized, sequential, multisensory exercises. Lexercise learning is rewarded and each lesson builds on the student ís growing skill and confidence. Reading and writing become more natural communication tools as the student integrates and practices fluency in letter-sound relationships

Daily practice is key to successful language therapy. Lexercise overcomes the barriers to learning and makes daily practice easier and entertaining. With their clinician’s support and encouragement, children “play” independently to build age-appropriate speaking, reading and comprehension skills.
